Job Description

Our client develops and commercializes therapies for hallucinations and delusions associated with Parkinson’s disease.


Description:
  • Responsible for speaker bureau program management, print production and fulfillment center management and aggregate spend reporting and closely interacting with Marketing, Sales, and Compliance management teams to meet corporate objectives.

Primary Responsibilities:
Promotional speaker bureau management:
  • Partners with brand and sales teams in development of speaker bureau programming and requirements for implementation.
  • Maintains day-to-day contact with vendor in managing processes and applicable technology.
  • Acts as field point-of-contact for enhancement requests and troubleshooting issues.
  • Identifies gaps and recommends solutions for streamlining processes and creating efficiencies.
  • Conducts program analysis and generates periodic reports for commercial stakeholders.
  • Gathers requirements for process or technology improvements and partners with IT and applicable vendors for related implementations.
  • Ensures HCP reporting compliance per aggregate spend policies and system integration.
  • Manages all commercial field and speaker portal updates and changes by providing input into design, conducting testing and rolling out.
Promotional Material Management:
  • Manages production schedule of all print materials and coordinates with agencies and production vendors ensuring timely delivery of materials.
  • Facilitates weekly production calls with key stakeholders aligning resource release with associated trainings.
  • Manages promotional material fulfillment center including inventory management and periodic reporting.
  • Prepares quarterly reports for marketers and sales leadership on commercial field resource utilization.
  • Oversees digital resource releases through Veeva CRM and Allego by partnering with IT and CET.
  • Partners with IT for management of data integration processes and frequency.
  • Oversees all field push shipments.
Manages aggregate spend reporting for commercial:
  • Works with cross functional team to ensure compliance with aggregate spend including state and federal reporting.
  • Identifies data integration requirements supporting implementation of appropriate system.
  • Administers processes for capturing and reporting aggregate spend.
  • Conducts ongoing review of data to identify duplication of expenses.
  • Acts as point of contact for commercial in managing reporting of data captured outside of system for uploading and system integration.
  • Identifies opportunities to streamline and improve processes and business rules.
  • Participates in the Marketing Advisory Council to solicit feedback and ideas to enhance processes or improvements for speaker bureau management and Company resources.
  • Workplace posts by collaborating with marketers and timing to release and training.
  • Participates in the development of business processes and provides input and recommendations for the implementation of Marketing Operations procedures. 
  • Supports the Marketing Operations business plan, demonstrating clear alignment with the Commercial organization’s strategic priorities.
  • Establishes collaborative relationships with the Commercial team through frequent communication and interaction to understand needs and optimize effectiveness.
  • Supports the department’s working relationships with Finance/Procurement to optimize the financial management, accrual and reporting for speaker programs.

Job Requirements

Education/Experience/Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of relevant education and applicable job experience may be considered.
  • A minimum of 8 years’ experience in Marketing in pharmaceutical or medical device industry with 2 years in Marketing Operations including experience with promotional review committees and speaker bureau program management.

Must possess:
  • MS Office proficiency in Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and intermediate skill in Excel.
  • Understanding of regulatory, legal and medical requirements for pharmaceutical marketing.
  • Familiarity with Sunshine Act Aggregate Spend Reporting.
  • Ability to organize vendor relationships to meet tight deadlines for meeting logistics.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present analyses effectively and in a variety of presentation situations, reporting and summary writing.
  • Strong team and interpersonal skills, works cooperatively with others, establishes rapport, while identifying needs of others.
  • Strong analytical and organizational abilities.
  • Self-directed with sense of urgency with commitment to tasks at hand.
  • Strong business sense to grasp big picture while maintaining details.
  • Ability to easily adapt to new technology.

Scope:
  • May provide guidance to subordinates and/or manage department section, to achieve goals in accordance with established policies and to meet schedules and/or resolve problems.
  • Receives assignments in the form of objectives.
  • Follows processes and operational policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions; determines how to use resources to meet schedules and goals.
  • Works on issues of diverse scope which require evaluation of a variety of factors and an understanding of functional area objectives and trends.
  • Erroneous decisions or failure to achieve results may add to costs and impact the short-term goals of the organization

Requirements:
