Job Description


Our client is a medical device and digital health start-up that develops lifesaving wearable solutions.
 

Summary of Role:
  • The Sr. Electronics Technician will be part of the electrical engineering team and help enable hardware development of life saving biomedical products.
  • This individual will work on multiple aspects of development including board bring up, rework, characterization, test setups, and lab management.
     

Responsibilites:
  • Support construction of test equipment that include assembly and wiring.
  • Perform benchtop testing including interpretation of results.
  • Trouble shoot potential setup errors.
  • Perform soldering and rework on printed circuit boards (PCBs).
  • Manage procurement of lab equipment including vendor management, shipping, and storage.
  • Order materials and maintain an organized, clean lab environment.
  • Provide support for engineers.
  • Suggest ideas to help solve issues.

Job Requirements


Qualifications:
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
  • 4+ years experience in similar role working on complex electronic products.
  • Practical knowledge of electrical circuits, components, and schematics.
  • High proficiency using test equipment (e.g. oscilloscopes, benchtop meters, power supplies).
  • Experience debugging analog and digital electronics.
  • Ability to be flexible and responsive.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Self motivated, responsible, and enjoys learning.
  • Soldering experience with fine pitch components.
  • Good understanding on how to work safely and efficiently in the lab.
  • Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written) with coworkers and external vendors.
