Overview:

Join our client as a Senior Research Associate and contribute to breakthrough scientific advancements in a dynamic and impactful environment. This role involves conducting research, development, and manufacturing laboratory experiments to support innovative projects, ultimately driving the delivery of life-saving diagnostic solutions.

What You Will Do:
  • Design and execute experimental plans aligned with project goals to support product development.
  • Conduct bench experiments, record detailed observations, and analyze complex data.
  • Prepare comprehensive technical reports, protocols, and quantitative evaluations.
  • Maintain meticulous and complete laboratory documentation and electronic files.
  • Exercise technical expertise to develop methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria, often working independently.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements within the laboratory environment.
  • Stay current with scientific literature, participate in conferences, and contribute to scientific publications, including patents if applicable.
  • Lead or participate in cross-functional teams for investigations and developmental projects.
  • Provide guidance and training to junior staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • Troubleshoot experimental issues and implement effective corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with GMP, GLP, Design Control, and other relevant regulatory standards.
  • Present research findings to internal teams and at scientific forums, promoting the company's innovative efforts.

Job Requirements


Required Skills:
  • Strong expertise in laboratory research and development, with experience designing and executing complex experiments.
  • Proven ability to analyze and interpret data, generating actionable insights.
  • Exceptional technical communication skills for report writing, presentation, and collaboration.
  • Familiarity with scientific literature, regulatory guidelines, and quality assurance practices.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot advanced assays and techniques.
  • Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and lead scientific initiatives.
  • Experience with laboratory automation and digital tools is a plus.

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience in in-vitro diagnostics or related biomedical fields.
  • Knowledge of molecular biology, immunoassays, or biochemistry techniques.
  • Background in biostatistics or data science.
  • Published research or patents in relevant scientific areas.

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in life sciences, biomedical engineering, chemistry, or a related field is required.
  • Master’s Degree or higher is preferred.
  • Minimum of 6+ years of relevant research experience in a laboratory setting, ideally within healthcare or diagnostic industries.

Other Requirements:
  • Ability to work in a regulated environment ensuring compliance with GMP, GLP, and other standards.
  • Availability to participate in conferences and represent the company’s scientific efforts.
  • Willingness to support continuous improvement initiatives within the laboratory.
