Job Description


Required Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences, Molecular Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field; Master’s or PhD is a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years of laboratory experience (less with advanced degrees) or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Proficiency in molecular techniques such as PCR, qPCR, nucleic acid extraction, and library preparation.
  • Strong manual pipetting skills and experience operating automated liquid-handling and sequencing instruments.
  • Competency in data analysis, documentation, and maintaining accurate laboratory records.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently within a team environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Preferred skills:
  • Experience with assay design, optimization, and validation.
  • Knowledge of NGS workflows, including target enrichment and library preparation.
  • Familiarity with laboratory automation and compliance standards

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant laboratory experience.
  • Previous exposure to regulated environments adhering to ISO 13485, QSR, and OSHA guidelines.

Other Requirements:
  • This is an onsite position based in Santa Clara.
  • The interview process includes a phone screening followed by a virtual or in-person interview.
