Our client is a leading biotechnology company that discovers, develops, manufactures, and commercializes medicines to treat patients with serious or life-threatening medical conditions. They are among the world's leading biotech companies, with multiple products on the market and a promising development pipeline.

Department/Team Summary:
  • The Hematology Reverse Translation group is focussed on identifying novel mechanisms of resistance to our drugs currently in development stages in various disease areas.
  • Novel targets for potentially overcoming resistance are identified by mining high-dimensional clinical trial data, which are then validated experimentally for biological relevance.

Responsibilities:
  • Our group aims to understand mechanisms of resistance in patients treated with immune engagers in hematological indications.
  • We seek a highly motivated and independent wet lab researcher who is interested in working on and developing standardized in-vitro assays for high throughput validation of targets from previous and ongoing computational analysis of clinical data.
  • These experiments can potentially inform new therapeutic combinations and help understand novel mechanisms of action and resistance to our targeted therapies.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:
  • 1-2 years wet lab experience post graduation in academia or industry, especially in-vitro experiments, primary cell isolation, co-culture assays, flow cytometry, and molecular biology techniques.
  • Background in biology, cancer biology, immunology or related field preferred.
  • Good understanding of cancer biology, immunology is a plus.
  • Curiosity and diligence in terms of seeking answers/resources independently.
