Overview:

Join an innovative Data Science team as a Data Scientist, where your expertise will play a critical role in shaping data-driven decisions across clinical development, medical affairs, and beyond. This position focuses on designing, implementing, and managing risk-based quality monitoring (RBQM) analytics for clinical trials, leveraging advanced SAS programming to deliver scalable, impactful insights. Your work will contribute to ensuring high-quality, reliable data that underpin the development of life-changing therapies, supporting our client's mission to transform patient lives through scientific excellence

Required Skills:
  • Advanced SAS programming skills (Base SAS, Macro, SAS SQL) within a clinical trials environment.
  • Hands-on experience working with clinical trial data and clinical systems such as RAVE EDC.
  • Proven ability to extract, transform, and analyze complex datasets.
  • Strong understanding of GCP, ICH, and FDA guidance related to clinical research.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical mindset.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills, with experience collaborating in global, cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Familiarity with RAVE EDC and clinical data standards such as CDISC, CDASH, SDTM.
  • Knowledge of R, Python, or JavaScript, especially for data visualization or supplementary analyses.
  • Exposure to clinical data visualization tools/platforms.

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • PhD in statistics, biostatistics, computer science, data science, or related life sciences with 3+ years of relevant clinical development experience.
  • MS with 5+ years of applicable experience.
  • BA/BS with 8+ years of experience in a related field.

Other Requirements:
  • Ability to manage multiple programming tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to collaborate across global teams and adapt to evolving project needs.
  • Strong documentation habits, including maintaining validation records and change logs.
