Job Description


Our client is a clinical-stage biotechnology company developing NK and NK-like gamma delta T cell therapies using their patented ACC (Antibody Cell-Conjugation) technology platform. Using ACC technology, they arm immune cells with antibodies to target and eradicate cancer cells. Their mission is to develop safe, effective, and affordable cell therapies to fight and beat cancers.

 

They are seeking motivated individuals with a strong interest in developing novel ACC-based cancer therapies.  This position will play an important role in executing studies to support pipeline development activities, IND enabling, and donor screening.  You will work in a supportive and collaborative cross-functional environment, with R&D team members across the US and Taiwan Labs.

 

Duties:
  • Perform primary T cell expansion to generate ACC-based cell products for research and donor screening.
  • Execute QC tests including cytotoxicity assays for pipeline development.
  • Conduct flow cytometry-based assay to analyze surface markers of T cells.
  • Execute qPCR-based analyses to support translational study of clinical trials.
  • Support routine lab maintenance.

 

 

Job Requirements


Skills:
  • Cytotoxicity analysis and multi-color fluorescence flow cytometry experience in a laboratory setting is required.
  • Experience in primary T cell expansion/isolation is a plus.
  • Organization/coordination skills to prioritize the assignments to deliver results timely.
  • Follow SOPs & lab guidelines and be able to work independently.
  • Execute laboratory quality procedures and experiments with detail to attention.
  • Record experimental procedures, observation, and analyze data accurately and timely.
  • Self-motivated in a fast-moving team environment.

 

Education:
  • B.S. or M.S. in life science-related fields (Immunology, Molecular Biology, Pharmacology, Chemistry, and Biochemistry).
  • 2+ years of experience in cancer therapy research (cell therapy-related experience is a plus).
  • 2+ year of experience in mammalian cell culture.
