Overview:

Our client is seeking a dedicated Analytical Scientist to join their High Throughput Analytics & Operations (HTAO) team. In this crucial role, you will support routine testing, data analysis, and technical report authoring for gene therapy development projects, contributing directly to life-changing therapies. Job Requirements


What You’ll Bring to the Table:
  • Hands-on experience in executing analytical methods such as compendial assays, molecular assays (qPCR, dPCR), immunoassays (ELISA, gyros), and bioassays (in vitro potency)
  • Proficiency with laboratory automation platforms like Tecan or Hamilton liquid handlers
  • Strong understanding of GxP environment documentation, including authoring and review of technical reports and managing approval workflows in Veeva
  • Expertise in routine testing of vectors, process intermediates, and reagents, including endotoxin, bioburden, visual inspections, pH, and osmolality
  • Excellent organizational skills for sample management, inventory control, and equipment maintenance
  • Meticulous record-keeping and data analysis capabilities using tools such as SoftMax Pro, GraphPad Prism, or custom spreadsheets
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams

Nice-to-Have Skills:
  • Prior experience with cell and molecular biology techniques
  • Knowledge of Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) or Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards
  • Experience in document management systems beyond Veeva
  • Comfort with troubleshooting and maintaining laboratory instrumentation

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Biomedicine, Cell Biology, Bioengineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant industry experience, preferably in a GxP setting

Other Requirements:
  • Ability to work efficiently in a high-throughput laboratory environment
  • Commitment to research integrity and safety compliance
  • Willingness to support maintaining laboratory supplies and participating in equipment calibration and validation activities
