Job Requirements


Required Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in project management or related roles within the diagnostic, medical device, pharmaceutical, or biotech industries.
  • Proven expertise in managing product development and product care projects, including clinical biomarker, In Vitro Diagnostic (IVD), or companion diagnostic development.
  • Experience working within regulated environments (e.g., FDA 21 CFR Part 820, ISO 13485, ISO 9001).
  • Strong proficiency in project planning tools, risk management, and critical path analysis.
  • Ability to apply both Agile and traditional project management methodologies, including coaching teams on best practices.
  • Demonstrated capability to analyze project KPIs, OKRs, and develop outcome-based plans to enhance project efficiency.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to serve as a single point of contact for project data and reporting.

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience serving as an Agile Program Manager in a scaled environment (SAFe).
  • Knowledge of regulatory submissions and validation processes in clinical or analytical settings.
  • Familiarity with scenario creation, impact analysis, and resource coordination across global teams.
  • Prior involvement in instrument or systems development within the personalized healthcare space.

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Master’s degree in Life Sciences or a related field with at least 6 years of industry experience.
  • Ph.D. with 3+ years of relevant project management experience in diagnostics or related fields.
  • Minimum three years of specialized experience in clinical biomarker, IVD development, or regulatory submission processes.

Other Requirements:
  • This position is primarily hybrid, requiring on-site presence at our Oro Valley, AZ campus approximately two days per week.
  • Willingness to manage global projects, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and travel as needed.
