Our client focuses on developing first-in-class and best-in-class therapeutics that provide meaningful advances to patients who live with serious and life-threatening rare genetic diseases. Overview:
Our client is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to support intercompany centralization, transfer pricing execution, and global close activities within a complex, multi-entity environment. This role will play a critical part in advancing the company’s intercompany centralization strategy, supporting SAP stabilization efforts, and preparing for increased operational complexity driven by acquisitions and global expansion.

This individual will operate in both a hands-on execution capacity and a project leadership role, driving process improvements while ensuring continuity and accuracy of close and reporting processes.
Key Responsibilities: Intercompany Centralization & Process Ownership
  • Support the design and implementation of a centralized intercompany operating model
  • Drive end-to-end intercompany process improvements, including reconciliation, invoicing, AR/AP netting, settlements, and transfer pricing adjustments
  • Partner cross-functionally with Accounting, Tax, Treasury, AP, and Order-to-Cash teams
  • Reduce manual processes, fragmentation, and inefficiencies
  • Develop and maintain SOPs to ensure scalability, audit readiness, and knowledge retention
Transfer Pricing & PaPM Execution
  • Execute transfer pricing processes, including cross-charges, royalties, and allocations
  • Utilize SAP PaPM for transfer pricing calculations, automation, and reporting
  • Collaborate with Tax to align transfer pricing policy with financial execution
SAP Stabilization & Process Optimization
  • Support SAP S/4HANA stabilization initiatives
  • Drive automation and system optimization to enhance process efficiency and data integrity
Global Close & Consolidation Support
  • Support month-end close activities, including intercompany reconciliations
  • Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting
Project Management & Integration
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives and support acquisition integration efforts
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and deliverables
Process Improvement & Strategic Initiatives
  • Identify and implement automation and efficiency improvements
  • Enhance reporting capabilities and contribute to the intercompany centralization roadmap
Expected Outcomes:
  • Advance intercompany centralization design and governance
  • Improve reconciliation processes and reduce manual effort
  • Strengthen documentation, controls, and audit readiness
  • Enable centralized ownership of intercompany processes
  • Reduce transaction volume and improve settlement efficiency
  • Drive cleanup of intercompany balances and subledgers
  • Build scalable processes to support future growth

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:
  • 8+ years of Accounting or Finance experience
  • Strong expertise in intercompany accounting and transfer pricing
  • Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA and SAP PaPM (required)
  • Proven experience in process improvement and centralization initiatives
  • Solid understanding of global close and consolidation processes
  • Demonstrated project management experience
  • Ability to operate both strategically and tactically
Leadership & Collaboration:
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with Accounting, Tax, Treasury, and Operations
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Ability to lead initiatives without direct authority
  • Prior people management experience preferred
Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • CPA preferred
