Job Description


Our client is a leading biotechnology company that discovers, develops, manufactures, and commercializes medicines to treat patients with serious or life-threatening medical conditions. Duties:
  • Contract Operations (C-Ops) is seeking a candidate to support the day-to-day operations of high volume sales contract programs.
  • Looking for a team player who has good attention to details and is also flexible to be able to perform various activities depending upon business needs.
  • Candidates will be expected to follow SOPs and job aids to ensure compliance with all laws, regulations and policies that govern the conduct of sponsor activities.
  • Candidates would be assigned responsibilities depending upon skill, knowledge and the department need.
  • Associates would be expected to work independently and complete assignments in a specified period.
  • Associates would be expected to produce high quality deliverables and escalate for assistance when questions or uncertainty is encountered.

Responsibilities would include but not limited to:
  • Processing of customer master data; data gathering of customer information from forms, electronic submissions and customer information systems to establish a profile of the customer information.
  • Maintaining customer master data including the creation and change in databases and systems.
  • Review and analysis of customer information using established business rules to determine and maintain customer eligibility for sales related contracted programs.
  • Perform ongoing membership rosters and affiliate management processing in accordance with business rules.
  • Responsible for maintaining customer program eligibility data in databases and systems.
  • Responsible for analyzing contract details (e.g. contract terms, financial terms) to perform customer contract set-up and maintenance in systems and other databases.
  • Process payments; rebates, fees, and chargeback claims for the various programs in a timely fashion.
  • Manage customer program onboarding including ensuring that appropriate forms and contracts are completed accurately, updating systems and communicating with applicants.
  • Manage contract renewals in a timely manner to avoid any interruption in access; working with boilerplate contract templates and electronic document approval systems.
  • Responsible for communicating with customers including providing status updates in relation to customer inquiries and dispute management.
  • Maintaining shared program mailboxes; including promptly responding to questions/inquiries from internal and external customers on contract policies, pricing, payment calculations, contract performance, compliance, etc.
  • Manage mass program notice letters for paper mailing.
  • Help to successfully resolve issues related to contract membership, affiliation and/or customer payments or chargeback claims.
  • May support with internal and external audits, team metrics, reporting activity.

Job Requirements

Skills:
  • Effective communicator able to deliver clear and concise verbal or written messages that facilitate a mutual understanding by both parties.
  • Strong customer service focus.
  • Deliver a high quality work product by providing a high accuracy and paying attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage large amount of data with high level of accuracy.
  • Strong working knowledge of the Google suite of applications (mail, calendar, meet, chat, docs, sheets).
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel; e.g. macros, vlookups.
  • Experience with sales revenue management systems; like Model N or Vistex is a plus.
  • Experience with contract management systems like Agiloft is a plus.
  • Experience with customer relationship systems like Salesforce is a plus.
  • Experience with financial systems like SAP is a plus.

Some specific requirements include:
  • Bachelor Degree (general business or finance disciplines are preferred).
  • 1+ years of previous sales contract operations or finance (related to sales) experience.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of, or aptitude to learn, current policies, guidelines, systems and reporting mechanisms that support contract operations in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology or related industry.
  • Previous experience in other functions within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology or related industry is a plus.
