Packaging Experience Design Sr. Manager – Customer Experience
This candidate will be responsible for leading (and managing) carton and IFU design related programs

Currently, we are looking for a talented and experienced Packaging Experience Design Sr. Manager with a passion for Healthcare, team building, and extensive experience providing viable, user-centered innovations across products, services, and businesses for patients and Healthcare Professionals. This individual will join the Customer Experience team and will support various programs through research, strategy, design and development phases.
In this role, you will:
Apply expertise in the Healthcare innovation process from insight generation and strategy and apply those insights to packaging (structural packaging and carton artwork and labelling) and instruction design. You will participate in existing projects, including collaborative workshops research activities, strategy and design methods and solutions across Innovation, Customer/Patient Experience, Brand, Clinical, Regulatory, Engineering, Human Factors, Drug Delivery Device Design etc.
Provide leadership for drug structural packaging, including artwork and health literacy and instructions messaging. A primary responsibility of this role will be to facilitate the merger of stakeholder input, regulatory requirements, and brand desires all while keeping human centered design at the core of the structural packaging, labelling, and instruction design. Cross-functional partners include global marketing, packaging engineering, human factors, device engineers, labeling, regulatory, and legal. This role will work closely with engineering and manufacturing to ensure design intent is carried through the commercialization process. Executive-level communication with a range of stakeholders including global marketing, market research, country/regional business, Digital Health, regulatory, legal, and more will be required in this role.
Inspire and shepherd internal partners through the research, strategy, and design activities by developing, managing and leading the execution of projects. You will be responsible for the successful delivery of assigned projects and deliverables, and the development of project approaches and plans.
Collaborate with brand teams and colleagues to develop project plans and manage external partners as they conduct research, drive to insights, and design solutions. This requires excellent project management skills, time management skills, analytical and creative thinking, organization, collaboration, writing, diagramming, and strategic communication.
At least five years of professional work experience in structural packaging design, packaging artwork, and instruction design.
Skilled at leading and facilitating team meetings and workshops, developing project plans, managing internal stakeholders and external vendors, and working with and motivating multi-disciplinary teams.
Ability to leverage project management best practices and tools to manage scope, timelines, deliverables, and budget.
At least five years of professional work experience in client-facing management role(s) within a strategic design firm, agency, management consultancy, and/or healthcare company.
Working familiarity with applicable healthcare industry governing standards, regulatory requirements, stakeholder roles, industry standards and trends.
