Specialist IS Analyst

Top 3 Must Have Skill Sets:
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows system administration including: Windows 7, Windows 10, Active Directory, and Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) and/or Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), OS imaging software such as Ghost, Macrium or Acronis, and other administration tools.
- Demonstrated experience installing and configuring information security tools such as Symatec End Point (SEP) and Cylance.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a self-directed manner with strong customer relationship skills managing a workload of service request tickets.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
Work with scientific staff and IS colleagues to resolve Help Desk tickets for issues and requests regarding laboratory computers including laboratory software upgrades, Windows OS upgrades, general troubleshooting of system issues and lab automation support. Support corporate deployments of anti-virus, software patches (WSUS) to laboratory computers. Image new computers as needed to support benchtop deployments documenting installations in inventory management systems. Physically inventory laboratory computers and reconcile with laboratory inventory system as needed. Support other small projects within the Enterprise Benchtop team as needed.
