The successful candidate will work with our life sciences and medical technology clients in creating and implementing product development and commercialization strategies for clients’ technologies. These engagements also include reviewing and designing evidence portfolios, conducting qualitative research with payers and health plans, and generating client deliverables. Associates will also work with senior Company staff to develop project proposals and maintain client relationships. Common projects in the Strategic Product Planning practice include:

• Conducting qualitative research with payers and providers
• Performing market landscape assessments for our clients’ technologies and their competitors, which include evaluating clinical literature, health economic and outcomes literature, payer medical/pharmacy policies
• Conducting market sizing, segmentation, and penetration analyses
• Creating corporate- and product-level commercialization strategies for technologies in the early stages of the product development cycle
• Building Excel-based financial models to evaluate product development scenarios and inform pricing strategy
• Developing pricing and reimbursement strategies for new products
• Designing outcomes and econometric studies in a way that resonates with key stakeholder unmet needs
Job Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• Graduate degree in business and/or health-related fields is required (MS, MBA, MPH, PhD), preference will be provided to dual MBA/MPH applicants
• Experience with early-stage clinical development and/or commercialization planning
• Experience in health technology assessment, evidence-based medicine, and/or medical coverage policy development/evaluation is required, preferably in a health plan, Medicare, or MCO setting
• Previous work developing and/or critiquing outcomes-based study protocols, from both clinical and health economic perspectives
• Superior organizational and project management skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-driven environment
• Superior written and verbal communication skills
• Experience interacting and communicating with Executive and C-Suite level staff
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook

The ideal candidate will have prior life science industry experience. Candidates with experience in management consulting, market access and/or reimbursement, and healthcare policy are strongly preferred.
