Job responsibilities include:

 

Primary analytical techniques include HPLC, UPLC, CE, MS, osmometry, particle analysis and UV-Vis spectroscopy. Properly maintain, operate and troubleshoot analytical instrumentation. Follow established experimental design and protocols and perform routine tasks and studies to obtain reproducible and reliable results with limited supervision after receiving training. Execute, interpret, summarize and present laboratory experimental data in group meetings. Enter data into electronic notebooks. Teamwork-orientated and good communication skills.

 

- Should have fundamental knowledge of instrumental analysis, analytical chemistry and protein biochemistry

 

-Proficient troubleshooting skills regarding laboratory analytical instrument

 

-Strong teamwork, organizational skills, attention to detail and accuracy, excellent written and oral communication skills

 

-Capable of quick learning and multitasking

 

-Capable of learning a variety of computer software including software for electronic notebooks

TOP 3 SKILLS:

  • HPLC experience
  • protein purification and/or protein stability experience
  • experience with documentation

 

Basic Qualifications                            

Bachelor’s degree and some scientific experience

Preferred Qualifications               

- B.S. degree in Analytical Chemistry, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Biotechnology or related discipline with some Biopharmaceutical industry experience
